Food exploration around Jakarta

It has been almost 2 months I am working in Jakarta. I find the environment here is somewhat similar to KL. I have to go through the heavy road traffic every morning and evening. However, I need not drive here as I have no international driving license. =p Anyway, I don't think I can ever drive in such busy roads. I can see motorcycles, bicycles, mobile food stall and even horse on the road! Serious! I saw this horse cart was traveling on the road once. The rider gave hand signal to other cars before changing lane as there weren't any signal light. LOL!

Very often I will either cook instant noodles or take away a packet of fried rice + satay from the food stalls outside my apartment. After we got bored with those meals, my colleagues and I also eat at the nearby plaza - Plaza Setiabudi. There are lots of food varieties including Chinese, Japanese, Penangite, Western and also desserts.

Last Friday, we ate in a Japanese Restaurant - Sushi Groove. This is an international chained restaurant, which you can find it in KL too. However, the sushi and sashimi here is way better than KL's. Especially their salmon sashimi! Its fresh and served in a big portion. *yummers* On top of that, I always get my 15% 'student' discount by flashing my university card. Hahaha! It was actually my old university staff card, which is no longer in used. But now I can use it for discount. =p They didn't question me even though the word 'STAFF' was printed on the card. Probably they thought 'STAFF' was my surname? LOL!

Yesterday, I had another outing with my fellow colleagues. We hung out at Kelapa Gading Mall in the afternoon. First of all, we had our lunch in the so-called largest food court in Jakarta. M and I shared a plate of mixed carrot cake as we were still quite full from our breakfast. We also ordered a glass of unique drinks. Its green in colour with some jelly-ish balls and seaweed (I think). The jellies were great but the drinks were a bit too sweet.

After lunch, we walked around the mall for awhile before I split with my colleagues, as they got to catch their movies. While I was shopping alone, I found a pretty working shoes with reasonable price. Sadly, they did not have my size. =( What a luck...

2 hours later, I joined my colleagues for dinner at the food festival. That was the second last day of the festival. We were shocked to see the crowd! Many of them brought their whole family there. There were lots of stalls selling a variety of food, from appetizer to dessert to supper. *drolling*

M and I cant resist the temptations of food and we immediately bought our coupons. Then, we started to purchase our food from stall to stall. In the end, we got ourselves a plate of mutton fried rice, Indonesian crispy pancake, fruit rojak, tofu rojak, Bangkong noodles, martabak Medan and some local kuih muih.

These are our dinner for 3 pax (martabak Medan was not in the picture). In total, it costs about IDR 100,000 (RM 36)

This is the yummy crispy cake, comes with 2 flavours - pandan and chocolate. It costs IDR 10,000 (approximately RM 3.60) for 5 pieces

I love the fruit rojak the most. It taste different from those we have in KL. Basically, the fruits were blended and mixed with spicy sauce. *like*

After meal, we had our dessert - 'Es durian'!! We thought it was durian ice-cream. But it end up to be 2 durian fruit + condense milk on ice. XD Although the 'es durian' was not bad and it is something new to me, I still prefer the conventional durian ice-cream. hehe!

When we were about to go home, we saw a parade was held along the road side. M, B and I walked near the fence and watched the parade performance. I even stood on a metal stuff to get a better view. Haha! Luckily no security guard came and chase me down. The parade continued with a few minutes of fireworks!! I felt the fireworks were so near! It was just right in front of my eyes. Nice... Due to my cacat-ed handphone camera, I didnt get to snap any nice pictures on the fireworks. All I have is the following picture on the fireworks.

It was a wonderful outing. =)

My photos appeared in random forwarded email

I received a forwarded email from a colleague of mine, E. The title of the email was 'English menu of a 3-star hotel in China'. When I opened the attached pictures, I found that those pictures were very familiar. Guess what? I was the photographer for those photos! LOL!

In order to confirm that, I opened my blog and compared each of the pictures. Yup!! I snapped the funny English menu using my mum's handphone in China. Later, I blogged about the funny menu in December 2007. It must be someone read it and downloaded those pictures from my blog. =p

I can't believe that my photos can ever appear in some random forwarded emails. Hahaha!!

Bamboo bridge adventure

Last Thursday, my colleagues and I went to our usual food stalls nearby the office. However, the stalls were full house! While we were wandering around the stalls, we met another 2 local colleagues, R and Y. They brought us to another eating place opposite the road.

In order to get there, we got to cross a huge and deep drain!! All my guy colleagues crossed the bamboo bridge within seconds, while M walked all the way to the main road to avoid crossing the bridge. For me, I thought of being brave. I walked across the bamboo bridge with my high heels... It was very scary! I was shaking up there and took quite some time to cross it. Guess what? I created traffic behind me... LOL! Those people behind must be cursing me for creating such queue... =p

While I was striving to cross the bridge, my boss was happily snapping my picture!! I will never try crossing it again. *SCARY*

Indomie

Yesterday, I had a grocery shopping spree with my colleagues after work. Our company chauffeur drove us to the nearby Carrefour. As usual, Friday's traffic is always the heaviest. We got stuck in the heavy traffic for quite some time.

Along the journey, we saw some guys were earning a living by the road side. Some of them trained their monkeys to do some tricks or performance. Yea... Monkeys! Some of the monkeys even wore sunglasses and pants!! They were so 'bergaya' (stylist)!! If the passerby like it, they will throw out some money to the monkeys... This was how they earn a living. I was trying to snap some pictures of them, but failed. Maybe I will try again next time.

Later, we reached our destination and shopped for our one week supply of food. Check this out! What you see at the picture below is only 50% of the instant noodles... There are more noodles behind these stacks of noodles. These are either our breakfast, lunch, dinner, and sometimes supper!!

Yea, we know these instant noodles are very unhealthy, but we still consume a lot. We have no choice, as this is the easiest and the fastest food. Anyway, we also have these... 

Those are our so-called healthy food. We have boxes of cereals, bread, peanut butter, biscuits, pasta, milo and etc. Of course there are more in the fridge! Heheheh!!!

Guess what I ate for brunch this afternoon... What else? Indomie!! I made myself a special bowl of Indomie! I added some beef sausages, vegetables, and egg!! Not to forget, a glass of chocolate milk!! Yummers!!!

Its time for me to think of what to eat for tonight and where to lepak (hang out) tomorrow... =)

A day out in Senayang City, Jakarta

Even though I have been to Jakarta for 3 weeks, I have not really explore the city yet. So far, I have been to only a few shopping malls nearby my office/ apartment. About two weeks ago, my colleagues and I decided to explore the second best shopping mall in Jakarta (as recommended by one of the magazines). We took a cab (its local term called Taksi/ Blue Bird) to Senayang City.

When we arrived, we got to walk through a machine. I think its a machine to examine if we were having fever to avoid the spreading of H1N1 virus.

Anyway, this is a pretty spacious and nice shopping mall. Most of the shops are selling the branded items ranging from clothing to electronic items, and etc. M and I walked into some of the boutiques and departmental stores. Some of the bags and shirts are pretty!! However, they were still too expensive even after discount. So, we decided to do window shopping only. Maybe we can afford some of the items one day. We gotta work harder... =p

There were some new cars displayed in their concourse areas. Toyota Vios was just launched here. But I don't think the new model is launched in Malaysia yet though. Other than that, we also saw this cute car. Its TerminalMotor (Is this the name of its model?). I am not a fan of cars, but this looks rather cute to me. Hehe!

In the end of the day, we went home with lots of breads, cakes, and J&Co donuts! The donuts were delicious!! There are avocado donuts flavor, which I don't think we can find them in KL. I will surely buy them again... Yummers!!

Getting used to Jakarta

It has been one week working in Jakarta here... I have started to get used to the currency, traffic condition, as well as food. For the first few days I arrived in this city, I kept confused with the Rupiah currency. There were so many 'zeros'. XD A meal can simply cost us about IDR 35,000 (RM13). I got to stare at the paper money a few moments to confirm whether it was a thousand or 10 thousands Rupiah. LOL! Until now, I still cant recognise them by its colour. =/

During weekdays, I will go to the nearby restaurant with my colleagues for a quick lunch. Unfortunately, there are only two restaurants nearby (others are the roadside stalls). So, we visit that two restaurants every alternate days! Monday, Wednesday and Friday was Nasi Bangkong; while Nasi Padang on Tuesday and Thursday. Actually, it is quite bored to eat the same thing everyday. On top of that, most of them are spicy food! I hope I can survive for a longer term... LOL!

Today, it is a lovely Saturday. However, my colleagues and I stayed in the apartment for the whole day! We were too lazy to walk out of the apartment. First of all, we cant drive here. Not to mention that we do not have a car and a valid local driving license. Even if we do, we are not use to the the driving styles here. I dont think I can ever drive on such a busy road here. We rather stay at home and watch TV, Dvds, and surf the Internet. 

Guess what? I cooked today! It took us more than 30 mins to cook our instant noodles! LOL! Actually, we were struggling to turn on the stove. Hahaha!! We tried all the buttons and switches... It wasnt working! =( In the end, we needed a lighter to light up this old style stove. After this, we had appointed B to be our 'Stove-man'. Kekekekek! He will be in-charged of the stove everytime we need to cook.

In the evening, we cooked Bolognese spaghetti for dinner. Our spaghetti was not bad. Thanks to M for her expertise in cooking. She was the chef, while I was the assistant chef. LOL! I even added cheese into my spaghetti!! Hahahaha! Yum yum!!

I find it quite interesting and fun to cook as a team. I am sure there will be more fun cooking sessions in the future. =p Looking forward to those happy moments....

My first working day @ Jakarta

Last Monday, I flew to Jakarta with another four of my colleagues - H, B, K and M. Our flight was scheduled at 7am. I have already arrived the airport at 4.40am. I met up with M and we checked in our luggage first. Since we were still early, we went for a drink at McD before boarding our plane.

That was the first time I boarded Air-Asia plane with 'Express Boarding Pass'. I thought we can board the plane earlier and avoid the long queue. Who knows... There were actually a huge group of people purchased the express pass too!!! Hence,the queue for express boarding was pretty long. It wasn't that express after all... =/

Two hours later, we reached Jakarta airport. Since I was sitting at the second row of the plane, I got to come down from the plane early. The customs procedures here were a bit different from other countries. Besides handed our passport and arrival card to the customs officer, we were asked to scan our finger prints too! Not 1 finger, but all 10 fingers!! Hahaha! After we got our luggage, we proceeded to our office at Jalan Rasuna Said.

Wowwww... Immediately, we started our work. Since that was our day one in our new office, we were still trying to get use to the environment. We spent a lot of time trying to settle down and also to set up our wireless internet connections.

In the evening, our Jakarta colleagues brought us to a nearby shopping centre. We bought our new local phone sim cards and some groceries items from Carrefour. Then, we went for dinner before heading to our new 'home'. Finally, I can see my new place and rest.

Phew! That was a long day to me! I was exhausted... yet enjoyed my day. =)

Pre-CNY Yee Sang dinner

This post was supposed to be published during CNY. However, I was too busy with other stuff. Hence, I delayed this post...

A week before CNY, I met up with my secondary school friends for a reunion dinner. Our organiser invited us through Facebook and the time was stated as 7.30pm to 10.30pm. 

Since I was not very familiar with the directions to the restaurant, I got my friend, CH to pick me up on the way. He was supposed to fetch me from home at 7pm. However, due to some 'unforseen circumstances', he only reached my place at 8.30pm. Apparently, he went home for a shower and got stuck in a traffic jam after that. What a lame excuse...

Finally, we arrived at the restaurant around 9pm. I was soooo hungry!! But!! Some of my friends were still on their way!! (Another excuse: SY went home for a nap and over-slept. Hahahhha!!!) So, we still cant start our Yee Sang & dinner yet. =( As usual, this group of friends of mine will never be punctual... Lesson learnt. Hahaha!

In the end... We were 2 hours behind our schedule.. We started our Yee Sang dinner at 9.40pm...

 This is our yummy plate of yee sang!! I actually enjoyed the moment of toasting the yee sang more than eating them. =p

I had a great time chatting with my friends during, as well as after the dinner. We were exchanging information and keeping each other updated with our current works and experiences. Even gossips!!! Heheheeh!

 

They are part of my friends. There were more than 20 of us (3 tables) who attended this reunion dinner.

We chatted until 11.30pm... Too bad... Its the closing time for the restaurant. Awww... We had no choice but to leave the restaurant and call it a night. We bid good-bye to each other and hope to have another gathering soon. =) Hopefully all of them will be punctual for the next gathering. Hahaha!

Later, JC dropped me home. We continued our unfinished stories until I got home. It was a tiring but full of laughter night.

Its March!! CNY celebrations had just over. So, I have taken down my CNY decorations from my monitor. Now, my little monkey is sitting on the monitor. He was given to me as a gift by one of my company's business partner in Langkawi island. Then, I flew him back to KL and he became our permanent resident of Happy Room.

He told me that, "Surround yourself with people who believe in your dreams"!!! People... Please support my dreams... =) I believe I can fly... I believe I can reach the sky.... I believe.....

CNY reunion with 6M members

It has been more than 10 years since I left my primary school. Some of us went to the same secondary school/ keep in touch with each other through MSN or email; while the rest have been lost contact ever since we bid good-bye on our graduation day... :'(

Thank god! Nowadays, we have internet technology, which helps us to connect with the rest of the world within a few clicks! Recently, SZ and I used Facebook as a tool to reunite our long lost classmates for a CNY dinner. Even though there were less than 50% of the class who turned up to the gathering, I think it was a good start... And I felt very happy to see them again. =)

At about 6.30pm, I reached the steamboat restaurant. After I parked my car, I got a call from both SZ and SY. Both of them were not there yet. As usual, Malaysian timing... LOL! While waiting for them, I stayed in my car and read my novel "Beware of Doug" by Elaine Fox. I only got down from the car when SY arrived, and we walked towards Sim Mei Steamboat Restaurant together.

I was so glad to see that about 5 of them were already there. At least not everyone follows Malaysian timing. XD We got ourselves a round table and had some casual chats while waiting for the key organiser, SZ. When she arrived, she ordered our food... 'Steamboat untuk 7 orang'... Since we didn't know who else will be turning up that night, we ordered only 7 people's share for the safe side. Guess what... We ended up with 12 people eating 7 people's share!!! LOLz! The boss must be thinking why this group of people so kiamsiap (stingy)...

While waiting for the soup to be boiled, we also catch up with each other for the latest updates... I found out that most of us have different professions. There are lecturer (SZ), tutor + Master student (HY), PhD candidate (HH), psychology student (CY), engineers (VC & HS), nurse (SY), banker (JR), etc... Besides, we got the updates about marital status too!!! LOLz!! Congrats HH on her marriage! =)

After dinner, we took a pretty group photo. Cheeseeeeeee!!!! (Yea... You can see the messy table. That was how we enjoyed our get-together dinner)

Since we didnt order enough food, we proceeded to our second round in Station 1 Cafe. This cafe was only a few steps away from our steamboat restaurant. So, it was pretty convenient. My friends were happily ordering their buckets of beer... Me? Nope... I will never drink and drive. So, I asked for my favourite Hot Chocolate... =p

 

Check out the box on the table. It was VC's 25th birthday!! So, we celebrated his birthday too! We sang him a lovely birthday song. Sweet SZ even bought him half a dozen of Secret Recipe's cupcakes!! Due to time constraint, she got him these cute CNY cupcakes. It was kind of... wrong theme... LOLz!!

VC is the only person in school who studied in the same class as me since Standard 1!!! We started from 1O>>1M>>2H>>3M>>4M>>5M>>6M.... LOLz!!! What a coincident... =) Both of us miss those days back in Standard 2. We were the pet students of our class teacher, Miss Hou... kekekekeke! We were still keeping the stamp album given by her!

After all the drinking, chatting and photo sessions, we went to KT's mansion. Yea... Mansion! Her house is huge! It looks like a holiday resort with a spacious garden area, which is able to fit at least 20 cars. All of us were amazed with her bangalow before entered into her living hall. We played cards and I lost badly in the games... sob... sob...

Anyway, that was a great gathering. I hope to see all my friends again!

How to write an effective emails?

 I was reading some online business articles and I thought of sharing some information with you. The articles were about email etiquette and good practices. Since most of use are using emails daily or we can't live without emails, so I think these tips are pretty useful to us.

According to Dave Johnson, there are 5 Dos and 5 Don'ts for writing an effective email.

Top 5 Dos

1. Put important information in bold, so it’s easier to see. Likewise, if you’ve addressed an e-mail to several people and there’s an action for a certain person, bold his or her name when you address the issue. Use bold sparingly, though.
2. If action is required, say so at the start of the e-mail. Don’t tell a long story with the requested action at the bottom. This is called the BLUF method, but I also tend to call it “getting to the verb.” - BLUF stands for 'Bottom Line Up Front'. So, be straight to the point.
3. Keep your signature short and professional. Lose the pithy quote and just include your title and phone number.
4. Keep the subject line relevant. If the topic changes over the course of a long thread, update the subject so it’s relevant. - Totally agree with this! It will be much easier when I need to retrieve some old emails.
5. Proof your e-mail before you send it. And make sure your spell checker is running.

Top 5 Don’ts

1. Don’t ever type anything in ALL CAPS, even to get someone’s attention. If you need to catch someone’s eye with something important, put it in bold. - Frankly speaking, I don't like receiving emails with ALL CAPS. It sounds like I was scolded by the sender.
2. Don’t include your entire team or your boss on every e-mail you send. Be selective.
3. Don’t send large attachments unless absolutely necessary, especially to a mailing list or distribution list. If possible, upload your files to the cloud, such as DropBox or MemoPal and provide a link. - I don't have these 2 softwares at the moment. Maybe I will research more on DropBox and MemoPal for my future posts.
4. Don’t send e-mail when you’re emotional. If you’re responding to someone that has made you angry, save the message in your drafts folder until you can proof-read it more objectively, and then send the e-mail.
5. Don’t try to be funny, especially to a mixed audience. The chances of being misunderstood are astronomical.

I hope this will help us to write a more effective email. =)

White Summer BBQ Party @ Izz's mansion

About 3 weeks ago, I attended my ex-colleague/friend, Izz's 'White Summer BBQ Party'... According to my limited sense of directions, it is highly unlikely for me to reach her house without getting lost (To be honest, her house is quite ulu/ far). Hahaha! Therefore, I decided to meet my colleagues at KLCC and followed them to the party.

I took monorail from Berjaya Times Square to Bukit Nanas station. The station was quite pack with people. However, most of them were waiting at the opposite platform.

When I came down from Bukit Nanas station, I was like... Where's the Putra LRT inter-change? I asked the counter officer and she told me to follow the sign in front. There was a huge crowd of people walking towards that direction. So, I followed. OMG!! It was a 10 minutes walk to the Dang Wangi Putra LRT station!!! No one tells me its so far!!! (My brother said 'Very near! Opposite only...' Yea, right!!) I was conned! LOL! I saw people just ran across the road to get to the opposite station. However, I am an obedient citizen... I followed the law... =p So, I made use of the pedestrian bridge. *More energy was consumed*

Finally, I reached Dang Wangi station and bought a ticket to KLCC.. Phew!! I reached KLCC!! I was longing for the air-con... It was so hot and humid outside. I love the air-con... When my colleague, M came to fetch me and other 2 colleagues, I told them that I was dying for the air-con. So, I got my front seat. Kekekekeke!!! It took us 10-15minutes to reach Izz's house. OMG! Izz's house was situated on a very steep hill. It took M quite some time to park her car... She was driving up and down the steep hill... And finally, she gave up. Instead of parking outside the house, she parked at the kaki bukit. LOL!

Before everyone else arrived, I helped out in the drinks preparation!!

See!!! I was happily mixing the juice with C!! Emm... Due to lack of experiences, the juice came out to be no taste... LOL! There were tooooo much water! Then, we tried to do some magic by adding in ice-cream soda... In the end, the taste came out to be quite funny. LOL!! No matter what, everyone had to drink it because thats the only one drinks available. kekekkekeke!

I found out about this event on last Sunday itself. There was a large group of people assembling suddenly in Times Square (Level LG), freezed for about 5 minutes, before quickly dispersing.

At first, I was not sure they are going to perform this act at where exactly at Level LG. However, when I reached this floor, I saw a large group of young people in pink/ red shirts. Some of them were even discussing and rehearsed their posses!! This is real Malaysian version of flash mob. Hahahah!

I saw one of the groups even count down for the time!! Arent they supposed to act in a sudden and surprise the people around? LOL!

At 4.35pm, all the participants freezed!! I took this opportunity to snap pictures... *Snap snap snap* All of them were funny!!

10 litres of water to produce 1 sheet of A4 paper

I was reading the online news this morning and the following advertisement caught my attention!

Check out the fact that we need 10 litres of water to produce 1 sheet of A4 paper!!! OMG! I wonder how many trees we killed and how much water we consumed/ wasted daily...


Lets put our hands together and be more environmental-friendly. Let see what we can do to reduce the usage of papers and save our earth.

1. Think before you print
2. Print on both side of paper
   
3. Do not throw away your newspapers/ magazines, recycle them
4. Submit income tax online - fast, easy, and you do not need to worry that your forms will be missing in transit through snail mail
5. Bring your own eco-bags during your shopping trips - this will help in eliminating the usage of paper bags and plastic bags

I'm sure there are a lot more ways. No matter what, just do our best, k? =)

Congratulations on June & Alfred's Wedding!

This evening, I attended my neighbour, June's wedding at Federal Hotel. This is the second time I had dinner here. I remember the first time I came here was during the 'Malam Anugerah Cemerlang Pusat Tuisyen Martin' (An award presentation ceremony by my tuition centre). Mr Martin, the principle of the tuition school was very generous. He treated his students who scored well in UPSR/ PMR/ SPM every year. So, we were motivated to study harder in order to be invited to the ceremony. =p I wonder if he still treats his students now... Or probably they get to go to a better class hotel now... hehehe!

Anyway, the food for today's event was much better than the last time. Hahaha! There were prawns, fried fish, chicken, mushroom with brocolli, and etc.. Out of all the dishes, I love the fried rice with anchovies the most! Its kind of weird... I will usually skip the fried rice in every dinner I attend. However, for this round, the fried rice was GOOD!! I was so tempted to get myself the second bowl. But I think I was too full to eat another one... Hehehe!

Besides the food, we were entertained by a live band. This group of singers consists of 2 guys and a girl. They sang lots of English oldies, and even a few Mandarin and a Cantonese song. I love their singings in the beginning. They are good singers. However, I got bored towards the end of the event as I was hoping for some Black Eye Peas or Lady Gaga's songs... hhahhaah! I gotta feeling... Tonight's gonna be a good night...

When dessert (the last dish) was served, it was already 11pm... I was so sleepy and tired. And guess what? I was so clumsy! I spilled my bowl of dessert! =( It was... an accident... All the guests at my table were focusing on me, the clumsy me... I felt so embarrassed. *sniff sniff*

Lastly, I brought home the complimentary chocolates for my brothers...

Brand new tyres for my car

My car has finally installed with two brand new tyres...

About two weeks ago, AO spotted my bald and scratched front left tyre. OMG!! I didn't know my tyre was in bad condition before this! On the next day, I went to a tyre shop and consulted the mechanic. This uncle mechanic shook his head and scolded me for driving with the bad condition tyre. He told me that the tyre might just burst on the road if I drive too fast.

After he settled with his earlier customer, he carefully checked all my tyres. He asked when was my last time changing the tyres... Emm... So far, I changed only 1 tyre which was punctured a few years back. Other than that, the rest of the tyres were already 6 years old. He nagged me a little... I was adviced to purchase at least 2 more new tyres for replacement. However, he didn't have stock for my model. So, he took out my spare tyre and changed the spoiled tyre. Then, I will need to come back again when the new tyres arrived.

When I told my colleagues about this incident, they were laughing at me! TY said 'You mean 6 years? Hahaha! Even those new tyres on the rack also expired already!' *Blush* Yea... I know nuts when it comes to car maintenance stuff. Now I know, I am supposed to rotate my car tyres every 2 years or so, in order to drag the life span of the tyres. Besides, I should check my car and the conditions of tyres every so often... Yes, yes!! I remember now... =)

Finally, the tyres have arrived and I changed them today! Initially, I thought the process of changing tyre is very easy. Buy a new tyre, take out the old tyre and install the new tyre, right?... NO! In fact, they got to go through a lot of testing before installing the tyres. What I observed was, the mechanic put the tyres on 3 different machines to do some testing... I am not sure what sort of testing are those... But for sure, changing tyre is not as easy as what I thought. In the end, it costs me RM225 including some car alignment and etc.

Sadly, this workshop accept only cash... Issh! I gave him all the cash in my purse already. Yea... I'm officially broke! =(

Everyday is sPeciaL!!

I got this cute table calendar from my secret santa, Alice. I like it as there is a nice quote every month. For January, its "Everyday is as special as you make it... make it great!". So, this becomes one of my new year resolutions. =) Yes! I'm trying to make everyday a special day. Perhaps I can make yours as special too!

Okay, I'm asking myself. 'What's so special about today?' Well, I was approached by one of my managers to apply for transfer to her department. Hahaha! This situation is rarely happen. However, this has proven that I still have some market/ value in the company. =p This is kind of a good news to me.
