CNY reunion with 6M members

It has been more than 10 years since I left my primary school. Some of us went to the same secondary school/ keep in touch with each other through MSN or email; while the rest have been lost contact ever since we bid good-bye on our graduation day... :'(

Thank god! Nowadays, we have internet technology, which helps us to connect with the rest of the world within a few clicks! Recently, SZ and I used Facebook as a tool to reunite our long lost classmates for a CNY dinner. Even though there were less than 50% of the class who turned up to the gathering, I think it was a good start... And I felt very happy to see them again. =)

At about 6.30pm, I reached the steamboat restaurant. After I parked my car, I got a call from both SZ and SY. Both of them were not there yet. As usual, Malaysian timing... LOL! While waiting for them, I stayed in my car and read my novel "Beware of Doug" by Elaine Fox. I only got down from the car when SY arrived, and we walked towards Sim Mei Steamboat Restaurant together.

I was so glad to see that about 5 of them were already there. At least not everyone follows Malaysian timing. XD We got ourselves a round table and had some casual chats while waiting for the key organiser, SZ. When she arrived, she ordered our food... 'Steamboat untuk 7 orang'... Since we didn't know who else will be turning up that night, we ordered only 7 people's share for the safe side. Guess what... We ended up with 12 people eating 7 people's share!!! LOLz! The boss must be thinking why this group of people so kiamsiap (stingy)...

While waiting for the soup to be boiled, we also catch up with each other for the latest updates... I found out that most of us have different professions. There are lecturer (SZ), tutor + Master student (HY), PhD candidate (HH), psychology student (CY), engineers (VC & HS), nurse (SY), banker (JR), etc... Besides, we got the updates about marital status too!!! LOLz!! Congrats HH on her marriage! =)

After dinner, we took a pretty group photo. Cheeseeeeeee!!!! (Yea... You can see the messy table. That was how we enjoyed our get-together dinner)

Since we didnt order enough food, we proceeded to our second round in Station 1 Cafe. This cafe was only a few steps away from our steamboat restaurant. So, it was pretty convenient. My friends were happily ordering their buckets of beer... Me? Nope... I will never drink and drive. So, I asked for my favourite Hot Chocolate... =p

 

Check out the box on the table. It was VC's 25th birthday!! So, we celebrated his birthday too! We sang him a lovely birthday song. Sweet SZ even bought him half a dozen of Secret Recipe's cupcakes!! Due to time constraint, she got him these cute CNY cupcakes. It was kind of... wrong theme... LOLz!!



VC is the only person in school who studied in the same class as me since Standard 1!!! We started from 1O>>1M>>2H>>3M>>4M>>5M>>6M.... LOLz!!! What a coincident... =) Both of us miss those days back in Standard 2. We were the pet students of our class teacher, Miss Hou... kekekekeke! We were still keeping the stamp album given by her!

After all the drinking, chatting and photo sessions, we went to KT's mansion. Yea... Mansion! Her house is huge! It looks like a holiday resort with a spacious garden area, which is able to fit at least 20 cars. All of us were amazed with her bangalow before entered into her living hall. We played cards and I lost badly in the games... sob... sob...

Anyway, that was a great gathering. I hope to see all my friends again!

How to write an effective emails?

 I was reading some online business articles and I thought of sharing some information with you. The articles were about email etiquette and good practices. Since most of use are using emails daily or we can't live without emails, so I think these tips are pretty useful to us.

According to Dave Johnson, there are 5 Dos and 5 Don'ts for writing an effective email.

Top 5 Dos
  1. Put important information in bold, so it’s easier to see. Likewise, if you’ve addressed an e-mail to several people and there’s an action for a certain person, bold his or her name when you address the issue. Use bold sparingly, though.
  2. If action is required, say so at the start of the e-mail. Don’t tell a long story with the requested action at the bottom. This is called the BLUF method, but I also tend to call it “getting to the verb.” - BLUF stands for 'Bottom Line Up Front'. So, be straight to the point.
  3. Keep your signature short and professional. Lose the pithy quote and just include your title and phone number.
  4. Keep the subject line relevant. If the topic changes over the course of a long thread, update the subject so it’s relevant. - Totally agree with this! It will be much easier when I need to retrieve some old emails.
  5. Proof your e-mail before you send it. And make sure your spell checker is running.
Top 5 Don’ts
  1. Don’t ever type anything in ALL CAPS, even to get someone’s attention. If you need to catch someone’s eye with something important, put it in bold. - Frankly speaking, I don't like receiving emails with ALL CAPS. It sounds like I was scolded by the sender.
  2. Don’t include your entire team or your boss on every e-mail you send. Be selective.
  3. Don’t send large attachments unless absolutely necessary, especially to a mailing list or distribution list. If possible, upload your files to the cloud, such as DropBox or MemoPal and provide a link. - I don't have these 2 softwares at the moment. Maybe I will research more on DropBox and MemoPal for my future posts.
  4. Don’t send e-mail when you’re emotional. If you’re responding to someone that has made you angry, save the message in your drafts folder until you can proof-read it more objectively, and then send the e-mail.
  5. Don’t try to be funny, especially to a mixed audience. The chances of being misunderstood are astronomical.
I hope this will help us to write a more effective email. =)

White Summer BBQ Party @ Izz's mansion

About 3 weeks ago, I attended my ex-colleague/friend, Izz's 'White Summer BBQ Party'... According to my limited sense of directions, it is highly unlikely for me to reach her house without getting lost (To be honest, her house is quite ulu/ far). Hahaha! Therefore, I decided to meet my colleagues at KLCC and followed them to the party.

I took monorail from Berjaya Times Square to Bukit Nanas station. The station was quite pack with people. However, most of them were waiting at the opposite platform.

When I came down from Bukit Nanas station, I was like... Where's the Putra LRT inter-change? I asked the counter officer and she told me to follow the sign in front. There was a huge crowd of people walking towards that direction. So, I followed. OMG!! It was a 10 minutes walk to the Dang Wangi Putra LRT station!!! No one tells me its so far!!! (My brother said 'Very near! Opposite only...' Yea, right!!) I was conned! LOL! I saw people just ran across the road to get to the opposite station. However, I am an obedient citizen... I followed the law... =p So, I made use of the pedestrian bridge. *More energy was consumed*

Finally, I reached Dang Wangi station and bought a ticket to KLCC.. Phew!! I reached KLCC!! I was longing for the air-con... It was so hot and humid outside. I love the air-con... When my colleague, M came to fetch me and other 2 colleagues, I told them that I was dying for the air-con. So, I got my front seat. Kekekekeke!!! It took us 10-15minutes to reach Izz's house. OMG! Izz's house was situated on a very steep hill. It took M quite some time to park her car... She was driving up and down the steep hill... And finally, she gave up. Instead of parking outside the house, she parked at the kaki bukit. LOL!

Before everyone else arrived, I helped out in the drinks preparation!!

See!!! I was happily mixing the juice with C!! Emm... Due to lack of experiences, the juice came out to be no taste... LOL! There were tooooo much water! Then, we tried to do some magic by adding in ice-cream soda... In the end, the taste came out to be quite funny. LOL!! No matter what, everyone had to drink it because thats the only one drinks available. kekekkekeke!

Happy Year of Tiger 2010!!

I would like to wish all of you a happy and prosperous year of Tiger... Roooaaarrrr....!!

KL Flash Mob @ Berjaya Times Square - 070210 (Added video)

I found out about this event on last Sunday itself. There was a large group of people assembling suddenly in Times Square (Level LG), freezed for about 5 minutes, before quickly dispersing.

At first, I was not sure they are going to perform this act at where exactly at Level LG. However, when I reached this floor, I saw a large group of young people in pink/ red shirts. Some of them were even discussing and rehearsed their posses!! This is real Malaysian version of flash mob. Hahahah!
A group of them were openly discussing about what to do...

I saw one of the groups even count down for the time!! Arent they supposed to act in a sudden and surprise the people around? LOL!
At 4.35pm, all the participants freezed!! I took this opportunity to snap pictures... *Snap snap snap* All of them were funny!!

10 litres of water to produce 1 sheet of A4 paper

I was reading the online news this morning and the following advertisement caught my attention!

Check out the fact that we need 10 litres of water to produce 1 sheet of A4 paper!!! OMG! I wonder how many trees we killed and how much water we consumed/ wasted daily...


Lets put our hands together and be more environmental-friendly. Let see what we can do to reduce the usage of papers and save our earth.
  1. Think before you print
  2. Print on both side of paper
  3. Do not throw away your newspapers/ magazines, recycle them
  4. Submit income tax online - fast, easy, and you do not need to worry that your forms will be missing in transit through snail mail
  5. Bring your own eco-bags during your shopping trips - this will help in eliminating the usage of paper bags and plastic bags


I'm sure there are a lot more ways. No matter what, just do our best, k? =)

Congratulations on June & Alfred's Wedding!




This evening, I attended my neighbour, June's wedding at Federal Hotel. This is the second time I had dinner here. I remember the first time I came here was during the 'Malam Anugerah Cemerlang Pusat Tuisyen Martin' (An award presentation ceremony by my tuition centre). Mr Martin, the principle of the tuition school was very generous. He treated his students who scored well in UPSR/ PMR/ SPM every year. So, we were motivated to study harder in order to be invited to the ceremony. =p I wonder if he still treats his students now... Or probably they get to go to a better class hotel now... hehehe!

Anyway, the food for today's event was much better than the last time. Hahaha! There were prawns, fried fish, chicken, mushroom with brocolli, and etc.. Out of all the dishes, I love the fried rice with anchovies the most! Its kind of weird... I will usually skip the fried rice in every dinner I attend. However, for this round, the fried rice was GOOD!! I was so tempted to get myself the second bowl. But I think I was too full to eat another one... Hehehe!

Besides the food, we were entertained by a live band. This group of singers consists of 2 guys and a girl. They sang lots of English oldies, and even a few Mandarin and a Cantonese song. I love their singings in the beginning. They are good singers. However, I got bored towards the end of the event as I was hoping for some Black Eye Peas or Lady Gaga's songs... hhahhaah! I gotta feeling... Tonight's gonna be a good night...

When dessert (the last dish) was served, it was already 11pm... I was so sleepy and tired. And guess what? I was so clumsy! I spilled my bowl of dessert! =( It was... an accident... All the guests at my table were focusing on me, the clumsy me... I felt so embarrassed. *sniff sniff*

Lastly, I brought home the complimentary chocolates for my brothers...

Brand new tyres for my car

My car has finally installed with two brand new tyres...

About two weeks ago, AO spotted my bald and scratched front left tyre. OMG!! I didn't know my tyre was in bad condition before this! On the next day, I went to a tyre shop and consulted the mechanic. This uncle mechanic shook his head and scolded me for driving with the bad condition tyre. He told me that the tyre might just burst on the road if I drive too fast.

After he settled with his earlier customer, he carefully checked all my tyres. He asked when was my last time changing the tyres... Emm... So far, I changed only 1 tyre which was punctured a few years back. Other than that, the rest of the tyres were already 6 years old. He nagged me a little... I was adviced to purchase at least 2 more new tyres for replacement. However, he didn't have stock for my model. So, he took out my spare tyre and changed the spoiled tyre. Then, I will need to come back again when the new tyres arrived.

When I told my colleagues about this incident, they were laughing at me! TY said 'You mean 6 years? Hahaha! Even those new tyres on the rack also expired already!' *Blush* Yea... I know nuts when it comes to car maintenance stuff. Now I know, I am supposed to rotate my car tyres every 2 years or so, in order to drag the life span of the tyres. Besides, I should check my car and the conditions of tyres every so often... Yes, yes!! I remember now... =)

Finally, the tyres have arrived and I changed them today! Initially, I thought the process of changing tyre is very easy. Buy a new tyre, take out the old tyre and install the new tyre, right?... NO! In fact, they got to go through a lot of testing before installing the tyres. What I observed was, the mechanic put the tyres on 3 different machines to do some testing... I am not sure what sort of testing are those... But for sure, changing tyre is not as easy as what I thought. In the end, it costs me RM225 including some car alignment and etc.

Sadly, this workshop accept only cash... Issh! I gave him all the cash in my purse already. Yea... I'm officially broke! =(

Everyday is sPeciaL!!



I got this cute table calendar from my secret santa, Alice. I like it as there is a nice quote every month. For January, its "Everyday is as special as you make it... make it great!". So, this becomes one of my new year resolutions. =) Yes! I'm trying to make everyday a special day. Perhaps I can make yours as special too!

Okay, I'm asking myself. 'What's so special about today?' Well, I was approached by one of my managers to apply for transfer to her department. Hahaha! This situation is rarely happen. However, this has proven that I still have some market/ value in the company. =p This is kind of a good news to me.

New year countdown celebration @ Mutiara Damansara

I had a great new year celebration this year! I went to Mutiara Damansara a.k.a. The Curve/ Ikea/ Cineleisure for 2009 countdown! In order to avoid the massive traffic jam, we reached The Curve at about 7pm for dinner.

After the awesome 'TGIF New Year dinner' (there was a special new year menu), we walked around while waiting for the countdown. We dropped by some shops and did some window shopping. Our last stop was Ikea. We hung out in the stall and got amazed with the house decorations until their annoucement went... "Dear customers, we will be closing in 30 minutes time... bla bla bla... Thank you for shopping with us." Okay... Its time for us to move out from Ikea.

We were quite lucky to spot some vacant benches in the mall. Hence we waited at the benches until 11.30pm. 30 minutes before midnight, its time to find a nice spot and enjoy the fireworks later! We found a so called nice spot, listened to Jacklyn Victor's live performances and saw others spraying their bubble. Check out this picture...

There were some poor guys got sprayed by a gang of people. Probably they were strangers to each other. However, they seems like enjoyed being sprayed. Haha!! I was keeping a distance with those people who were holding the sprays. I didn't want to get wet later... =p

Its 11.59pm!! Time to countdown!!! 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

I experienced the first new year countdown celebration with fireworks!! I wanted to snap some better pictures. However, I was standing right in front of some flag poles and snapping with my 3.2 megapixels camera phone. So, the picture turned out to be like that. I cant even remember if there were flash... Hahaha! Anyway, the real fireworks were 10 times nicer!!! I love it!!! I hope to see more fireworks! They are pretty! Beautiful!!

New Year Resolutions

Year 2009 is ending very soon... Are you planning for your 2010 New Year Resolutions?

I do think New Year's resolutions can't technically be expected to begin on New Year's Day, don't you? Since, because it's an extension of New Year's Eve, smokers are already on a smoking roll and cannot be expected to stop abruptly on the stroke of midnight with so much nicotine in the system. Also dieting on New Year's Day isn't a good idea as you can't eat rationally but really need to be free to consume whatever is necessary, moment by moment, in order to ease your hangover. Young Corporate Malaysians Summit

Last week I got an email from PostGradAsia.com regarding this 'Young Corporate Malaysians Summit". I think this summit may be useful and I decided to attend it. I was supposed to attend this summit with another 2 colleagues. However, due to some unforseen circumstances, I gotta attend it alone.

When I arrived Menara Integriti, I saw lotsa young people in their very formal office attire. I was so worry that I was under dressed as I did not wear a blazer like others. Luckily, when I stepped into the building, I saw some guys was even more informally dressed than me! They were wearing a pair of jeans with a simple t-shirt! =p

Ok.. After I registered myself and got my goodie bag, I saw this girl, F who was standing alone near the corridor. I approached her and tried to make some conversations... Hehehe! And now, she becomes my friend! She's a lovely and friendly person who works in the Corporate Planning department too! We chatted for a while until the summit was started.

The sessions before lunch were pretty interesting. I even jotted down my own notes! The summit became even more interesting when one of the participants started a 'little debate' with the panel speakers during the Q&A session.

During lunch, I met a final year Engineering student from 1 of the Singaporean universities. Later, I found out that he is from Malacca! Then, we started to discuss about the nice food around Malacca. He told me Capitol Satay Celup. Yeah! I tried that, but I am not a fan of satay celup... After that, I met a professioner trainer... LOL! So happen, I was looking for a trainer who can speak in Bahasa!! What a coincident, manz... =)

The session right after lunch was a little dull and boring... Probably the 'after-lunch effect' had just kicked in. Hahaha!

I remember the final session was regarding 'Retaining the good people'. I love the topic and all the 3 speakers! One of the speakers even agreed that "Malaysians are under-paid"... *Clap clap* I love his statement!! LOL! How I wish I could get a better paycheque?

When the summit finally ended around 6pm, I saw this familiar looking guy. After some head-straching conversation with him, we finally found out where did we first met. He was 1 of my junior in my uni. We were in the same club. Another coincident... Hahaha!!!

In short, I enjoy meeting with people!!

Fast car? No...

After met with the mad taxi driver in Bangkok, I met with another mad driver along Federal Highway... It was a lovely Sunday morning and I was traveling along the highway at around 90km/h. Well, do not expect me to drive faster as the speed limit was 80km/h only. On top of that, there was an MPV right in front of me traveling at the same speed.

What happened was, a red hatchback Proton car was tailgating behind me for quite a distance! I ignored him at first. After a while, I moved to the middle lane and gave way. The driver sped up and over took me!! Fine...

But, guess what? Two seconds after he overtook me, the right side of his car bumper felt down!!! It was dragging on the ground. Can't help it!! I gotta laugh!!! Hahahahaha!!! I was actually banging on my wheels and laugh out loud. XD On top of that, I showed him a 'thumbs up' sign when I was passing by his car.... *Padan muka*

The moral of the story is, if you're not driving a fast car, do not act like driving one... Your car might end up falling apart.... Hahahahahha!

A frustrating taxi ride in Bangkok

I went to Bangkok over the weekend and this is the X number of times I came here. The last time I came was less than a month ago. Hence, I know the taxi fare/ charges well. For this round, I encountered some problem where the airport taxi driver was refused to turn on his meter. He wanted to charge me a lump sum of THB450 (approx. RM45), where usually it cost less than THB350 (approx. RM35) for the same trip.

My mum and I immediately negotiate with the driver. We even requested him to stop the car. In the end, he agreed to use the meter, while we pay the airport charges (THB 50) plus the toll fare. Well, this is fair as the toll fare and airport charges are to be borne by the passengers. However, he sounded like very frustrated and unhappy with us.


After that, he started to drive like a mad cow on the highway! He honked each and every car on the road and swift from one lane to the other. He was just a crazy idiot driver! On top of that, he used a longer route to reach our destination! He overshot the exit of the first highway and went up to the second highway. Therefore, we had to pay another THB45 for the toll fare. Ishhh!! Then, he made a huge U-turn to go back to our hotel! Yea, this is how he can charge us more!!


I was even angrier when he started to jam the brake in front of the traffic light! When he reached the traffic light of a big junction, the traffic light turned red. However, he was trying to beat the traffic light but it was failed as the van in front of him braked. So, he jammed his brake in a sudden and the impact caused our body to move forward!! Thank god we wasnt hurt. He’s such a terrible driver! I immediately jotted down his details and snapped a picture of his car plate number displayed in the taxi.



After some frustrating ‘city tour’, we finally reached our hotel. And guess what, after adding up all the charges, the cost came up to THB450! And he didn’t even want to come down to unload my luggage from the boot. Ok, fine. I unload it by myself and snapped a picture of the taxi after that.
Guess what? I didn’t close his car boot properly. Yea, I did that on purpose! You can actually see it from the picture... Hahahah!! Since he conned us, I tried to revenge on him! I hope his car boot will open up when he reach the highway!!! Heheheh! It would be funny driving with an opened boot.

If there are any future trips, I will ensure that I check for the taxi fare with the driver before getting into the taxi. In this case, I can simply hop into another taxi, which is driven by an honest driver.

Part 3 of my Annual Leave

Day 5 - Vegetating day
This is the last day of my annual leave. I decided to vegetate at home. I spent almost the whole day to surf the Internet and played FB games. I was so addicted with this "Restaurant City"... OMG! I was busy with exchanging ingredients with other friends, re-decorate my restaurant, upgrade my dishes, wash toilets, repair the arcade machine, etc... (FYI, so far this is the only game I play in FB =p)

Other than that, I also browsed through my friends' profiles and pictures... Guess what? I found this from one of their albums!! I was posing with my colleague's wine glass at my work station... XD

Out of Klang Valley!!!

This is a continuation of my previous post... =)

Day 3 - Wonderful Malacca trip
I was heading to Malacca early in the morning with X... The weather was fine and the traffic was smooth...


Right after we exited the highway to Malacca, we had to rely on the sign boards coz we don't know our ways. We followed the signboard heading to Pusat Bandar... After a while, we got here!!! The Jonker Street!!!


It was quite pack in Jonker Street. We made a few rounds and found 1 parking spot. The parking fee system is quite different here compared to KL. Instead of putting coins into the parking machine, we had to buy the parking cards from the nearby store. The card cost RM0.70 each (for an hour) and we gotta stratch the card ourselves. I was having fun straching the cards. LOL!! Year >> Month>> Day>> AM/PM>> Hour>> Minute... Finally, its done! Then, I placed the cards on the dashboard and got ready for food hunt!

First stop: Lunch - Chicken Rice Ball *Yum!!*
I love the chicken!! It was so smooth and tasty!! The rice balls were great too! Initially the waiter asked if 10 rice balls are enough for me... I was like, 10 balls for 2 persons?!?!?! I thought the balls are very huge. But when it came, it looks alright. We finished all of them. XD

Second stop: Tea-time - Cendol from Cendol 88
Check out the queue!!! Eventhough there are a few stalls that are selling cendol, this stall seems to be the most famous stall. No matter sunny or rainy days, people still love Cendol 88! I was one of them who waited in queue with an umbrella. hehehe!


Finally I got my 2 bowls of cendol. There's Baba Cendol on the left and Sago Cendol (the bigger bowl) on the right. I love the sweet gula Melaka! Besides these, they serve durian cendol, mango ABC and etc... Probably I will try out the rest during my next visit... =p Cant wait to come here again...

Third stop: Dinner - Capitol Satay Celup
This is another famous eating place in Malacca. The picture below shows part of the long-queue... The queue was quite long and I waited for more than half an hour for my table.
Well, this is something like steamboat, where you dip all the food you like in the satay sauce and cook them. I chose my favourite sotong, also prawn, meat balls, kangkung, and etc... Its something special to me but I am not a big fan of Satay Celup... LOL!

Day 4 - Leaving Malacca to Seremban
Before we leave to Seremban for S & Z's wedding ceremony, we travelled back to Jonker Street for breakfast...

Fourth stop: Breakfast - Baba Laksa & Asam LaksaThis is the very first time I took asam laksa for breakfast... LOL! Sour and spicy food early in the morning! Somehow the aunty made a mistake. Check out my bowl of asam laksa on the right! There were 2 big spoons full of tuna fish! *Yum*!!! I love my bowl of asam laksa!

After the wonderful makan trip, we head towards Seremban to attend my colleagues S & Z's wedding. Guess what? I can read map!!! I was reading the map given by S and we managed to reach our destination without much hassle!!! So proud of myself... LOL!!!

I saw lots of my colleagues/ bosses in the ceremony and many of them came with their kids... So adorable. My mistake for not snapping any of their photographs. LOL! The Malay wedding jamuan is quite different from the Chinese. They started to serve the food from noon onwards and the friends and relatives can come and go at anytime between noon to evening. So, we were taking our turns to sit and eat at the tables.

After sending my wishes to the bride and groom, I left the place for the famous Seremban Siew Pau!! However, we couldnt find our way for the 'pow'. =( So, we went home empty handed...

Anyway, I think I had a great vacation!

My first 2 days of annual leaves

I am now having my 'leave clearing spree'... I have a number days of leave accumulated since last year... I gotta clear my leave before they expired. (Thanks to our new HR policy) LOL! Well, I have taken 3 working days off since last Thursday. So, there's a total of 5 days off including the weekends!!

Day 1 - System failure day
Firstly, I went to the Petronas station along East-West Link for fuel. Grrr... My petrol tank's door was giving me problem. I pulled the petrol flap. However, the tank's door didnt open! This wasn't the first time that the cap refused to open. Even thought I sent it for repair before, the problem still exist from time to time. *Frustrated* Well, this problem can be solved if I pull the flap, while another person help to pull the door at the same time. Hence, I was waving at the kiosk attendants for help... He looked at me one-kind and ignored me. =( End up, I got to walk towards him and 'beg' for help. Guess what? He told his another colleague to help me instead. Ok.. I finally got someone helping me to open my tank's door. Then, another problem occur! ISHHHH!! The credit card host was offline!!! What a lucky day?? I gone through so much trouble and found out I cant pump my petrol?!?! My tank was drying. So, I had no choice and pumped RM5 first. *sniff*

I went to the BSN branch SS15 to redeem some gift certificates. I was surprised that the counter staff was SO polite and helpful! She explained stuff to me in detail and most importantly, she was very patient! She is much better than other private banks' counter staff. *Thumbs up*

After that, I was trying to renew my road tax. *Sigh* The post office officer told me that the JPJ system is down at the moment. In addition to that, ALL other post offices in Subang, Petaling Jaya and Sunway are facing the same problem! =( Why is it system down everywhere? What a disappointed morning?!?!

In the evening, I was trying to pump petrol at another petrol kiosk on my way home. Gues what.... The credit card host was offline too!! why must the systems of all places down when I need them? Maybe we need some major improvement in our systems, broadband, technology, etc. etc......

Day 2 - Fruitful day
I fetched my grandma to the market in the morning. While she was doing her 'marketing', I was trying to settle a few things...
  1. Pump petrol... The system was up!! I pumped a full tank of petrol!! *gulp gulp gulp*
  2. Renew road tax... The system was running!!! There were no queue in the post office too!! *Great* The road tax costs me RM22, including service charge. However, I kept hearing the counter staff said 'Three-ty two"... I was like... huh? "Thirty-two"?? She repeated 'Three-ty two". LOL!!!! It was either her pronunciation got problem or my hearing got problem... XD
  3. Install new car wipers... My wipers are going to celebrate their 6th birthday in 2 weeks time. They are getting old and not working properly. So, I gotta change them. I changed a pair of new Bosch wiper, cost RM28. I'm gonna test how good are them tomorrow if the sky decided to rain.... =p
After all the tasks, I fetched my gma home from the market.
